Question Printing looks striped..help?

I am printing some pages and my ink catridges are pretty new. I notice light striping across my whole page when I look at it close up. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening. I have printed quality pages on this printer before without this problem. Maybe it's time for a new printer?
I have a HP 960c inkjet.
TIA

Have you changed your photo paper since you've noticed the white stripes? Some printers are real divas and start acting up if you don't feed them the right brand paper or if the paper is really thick. Have you printed a test page on regular paper, how did this one turn out? (Oh, and do you hear a squeeking noice or scraping when you print? All these might be signs that your printer does not like the paper.)

Another possibility would be that the heads are clogged. Some printers have auto nozzle cleaning features, so if yours does, I'd try running one of those.
