Weeks 10-11: Geographically challenged go Russky!

Ladies and Gentlemen! Or shall I say Damy i Gospoda! I am feeling slightly blue and nostalgic, and I think we should all aim our flying carpets towards Zinzilah's homeland! A big and misterious country, beautiful and torn apart by wars, and changes! We go to Russia. I hope we will have a bigger turn out than last week and remember it doen't matter whether you have been here before or are just joining, doesn't matter if you have ever been to Russia or never even wanted to go. Ask me anything! I'll do my best to answer any questions about Russia! The preview that is being posted as we speak, should be with you soonest, it is missing two papers from the preview, but post in this forum, and I will pm you the link to the missing papers, and you will get them even if you didn't post your American LO last week!!! I am really hoping I won't be on my own this time! TY for reading this, yours Olga

SPASIBO - thank you! DO SVIDANYA - see ya!

All journaling again, sorry. But it just felt right for this country. Thank you Olga for letting me express my feelings.

The thread for the USA challenge is closed, but I posted a layout anyway. Here it is:

USA

Sorry to be so late. I've just been slammed at work recently and over-committed with things to do!! Hope you enjoy this one.

Now to get started on a Russian layout. I can see those gorgeous onion domes already!!

Where is this dome? It's beautiful. My first thoughts of Russia always include snow and onion domes. I'm sure that it must be summertime there some time during the year, but I always associate it with scenes from Dr. Zhivago. Tell us more about your part of Russia.
