Week 6: Geographically challenged do a Riverdance!

Ok, Ladies, grab a pint of Guinnes, put on your best green, dye your hair red, and let's do a Riverdance! Who can fiddle?! Yes, we are off to enchanted forests and fairy rings with toadstools and elves! Oh, how I miss Ireland! Well, really I have never been properly if you don't count an hour at the airport in Shannon! But I always wanted to go, and had a better chance living in England. I will try and post some links to this lovely country! And I am much hoping for help from anybody who knows Ireland! Angela? Here is your key! I am looking forward to hearing what inspires you about this place!

Oh boy Olga, Ireland is on my list of "MUST DO" places. My DH has a couple of employees in Dublin so it looks like we'll have the chance next year. But for now I'm thinking that I could scrap some St Patty's pics in the meantime - have to think about this one.

Gosh, I'm first to post a layout? Well, this one brought back really good memories of our "Hot Spot" trip in 1997. It seems we went to all the tumultuous countries that year! And we did get to "Ireland"; only it was not the Ireland that most people think of... The Republic of Ireland. We went to the "Other Side of Ireland" known as Northern Ireland. What a great country and we would love to get back to see the Republic of Ireland some day.

As for my layout, "The Other Side"... here it is: http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com/galle...6724&cat=11839

Thanks for the memories, Olga! P.S. I actually got a pint of Guinness at a Pub in Belfast! (all I can say is that it has an "interesting" taste!)

Oh, I love Guiness! I don't like beer in general, and Guiness is the only thing I like, I was told drinking Guiness wasn't ladylike, but the midwife said to me (then expecting) that I should have an occasional Guinness for the iron levels! Suited me, I didn't drink anything alcoholic during pregnancy but if I ever wanted to (two times per pregnancy) I'd have half a pint of it! Mmmmmm, want one now!

Okay, never been to Ireland, but my family is Irish... My mom was a Mahoney and her dad was 100% (although born in Brooklyn, NY...)

I think I can find some inspiration that way.

This one took me a little longer than usual - I had so many ideas running around in my head and I was just waiting for one to jump out and say OK Lady Here I Am - LOL. I found this Irish Toast on the internet and some old pics from St. Patty's day and well, the rest is history.

Mine is Irish Angels
