Hi, I have just joined in the last week and have been so busy looking at everything that I have not introduced myself yet. I am a SAH mom of 3 kids and 2 husky dogs and wife to my best friend of 16 years. I am SOO new to digital scrapbooking. Actually so new that I just started the day I joined this site! My DH is a geek by trade and has been pushing me to go digital. I have fought it for years but after he has bought me what seems to be EVERYTHING I need, then I figure I better utilize these tools. Problem is.......I'm scared! I too have felt very overwhelmed but was determined to look into the tutorials here and create SOMETHING even if it killed me. So, I am hopefully attaching my very first digital layout ever! Thanks to everyone on this site for the free downloads and tutorials that helped me accomplish this. I felt a HUGE weight lifted off my shoulders and actually was excited about all the possibilties that lie ahead. My DH has bought me the Canon digital 10D with wonderful lenses as well as the Adobe Photoshop Creative Suite. I have all the computer equipment that anyone would need but I must say, I am still nervous about what to do with it all. Luckily he is learning alot of this with me but I did ALL of this first layout without any help from him. I just followed along on this site and did it all. Thanks again for all the info and shared items on here. It really has gotten me hooked already.

Welcome, welcome! You are already ahead of the game! Hey nothing stopping HUBBY from joining us either you know! LOL

Thanks, He will most likely check out the site from time to time but he is one of those people that learns from reading a book so he is reading up on learning photoshop. I on the other hand have to just do it and learn as I go by playing around. I am just blown away with all of the knowledge and creativity that everyone on this site has. I hope that I can catch on quickly. I so like the idea of being able to share pages with family and friends that don't live near us. Our family is really the only ones able to sit and look at the scrapbooks that I have created (and stay so far behind on) so this way, we can share them so easily. I just hope that I catch on quickly and don't get frustrated. Hey who knows, I may be able to get caught up on scrapping my photos! What a concept!!
