Help me with fonts on this page

i'm making my first page using a quotation and mixing up the fonts. i know i'm having some shape problems as how to lay out the words, and i think there's some font problems, primarily the "sleeep in peace" text.

i'm open to any suggestions for making this page flow better.

thanks!

Hi Karen! What a precious photo and the scripture is perfect!

First of all the plaid bg is a bit distracting so I think it would be best to blur it a little.

I did a quick 5 minute try.
I lassoed your little guy, select>inverse>filter>blur>lens blur or gausian would work.
Of course I did it really fast- so it's a little sloppy.

I used century gothic (size 40 & spread out about 50) and petra script (size 150) found here http://scrapvillage.com/fontsp.htm for the sleep in peace.

Font work is soooooo hard because there are sooo many chices- LOL!

First of all, Nice job Karen and what a sweet little pic! Your adjustments were lovely, Laurie. YEah I Was going to say, Karen, that you had too many block fonts that are overpowering the pic. I was going to suggest a different script font for sleep in peace - one a little lighter weight and then make it much bigger. I sort of feel like the quote is too broken up - the different fonts need to come more closely in contact with each other as it is all one quote, and not several different ones. Clear as mud?

Hi there!

I agree with Dianne, and perhaps the font color is a little stark in contrast to the layout. You may wish to use 2 or three colors for your script that compliment the colors in the photo. Hope this Helps
