I changed my avatar today - it has changed when I post in the forums but not the gallery - does anybody know why this would be? Also, when I change my avatar, are the changes immediate? I am seriously considering not even having one - they are a pain to get uploaded and working properly it seems. Yes, the images are well below the alloted size, and the proper format. Any ideas or thoughts anyone?

Most likely is it's your browser caching your old avatar rather than anything to do with SBB -- your avatar is showing up fine in the gallery when I look at it. If you use Internet Explorer, try navigating away from SBB, doing Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete Files, then close IE down and reopen it and see if you're getting the right avatar displayed then.
