If you could have just one CD

That's a toughie! I just started getting CDs recently. For the first year I scrapped, I resisted the temptation to spend the money. The first CD I purchased was Tanya's from "Play on Elements." It's FABULOUS and was money well spent.

I now am also the proud owner of both of Gina's CDs from Digital Design Essentials.

All three of these make it sooo easy to put together a great LO in just a short time. They all have fabulous kits and each kit has it's own alpha.

I have a couple of CDs on my wish list. Anna's new "Miracle" CD and Michelle Underwood's "Time of Your Life" CD to name a few.

Hi,

It depends on what you are looking for really. Julie Mead's Girly to Grungy has loads of backgrounds and a huge variety of different and unusual elements - this has been my most used CD so far.

I recently bought Tanya's Play on Elements CD which is great too and has lots of co-ordinating kits - I haven't been scrapping much recently so I still have lots to use from this.

Santa was bringing me Gina's DDE Vol. 2 but he came early last night and it is awesome! I love the browns and bolder colours and there are plenty in there.

All the CD's out there are great and it really comes down to what your personal preference is - this has probably confused you more than it has helped but thought I'd add my twopence worth anyway.

Regards,
Jules

It's too hard to decide!

I was just like you a few months ago, but I caved into temptation and bought some CDs.

It's waaaaay too hard to pick just one CD as my favorite. I started with Anna's first CD "Baby Daze" because I just had a baby and I thought it would help me put together an album and learn how to digiscrap all at the same time. It's a beautiful CD, and it really helped me begin to understand HOW digiscrapping worked. It also started my slide into "The Dark Side." lol...

I am now the proud owner of Clara's "Matter of Scrap," Tanya's "Play on Elements," Michelle's "Time of your Life," and both of Gina's DDE CDs. I'm drooling over Anna's "Miracle" CD because I just looooove her style. (Note to self: put on Xmas list!)

But even though these are the ones I own, doesn't mean that there aren't plenty of other fantastic CDs out there. I keep hearing about the "Girly to Grungy" CD, but haven't been able to find it. I'm sure if I could, I'd probably own that one too. ROFL!

Obviously, I couldn't decide on just one CD either.

I can help you with that one! You can find Girly to Grungy at e-scapeandscrap website

I only have one cd, Play on Elements. I love it. But, I do love Gina's style so of course I want her cds, and Anna's Miracle cd. Is there such a thing as having too many kits?!!

IMHO a lot depends on what you're trying to focus on scrapping. Maya's "Near & Dear" is an amazing collection if you want resources to create a family album. Tanya's "Play On Elements" has some wonderful unique sets for "special pages", and if I had little ones I'd snatch Anna's "Baby Daze" up in a heartbeat!

For all around basic design however I find that I reach for one or the other of Gina's CDs ("Digitally Sparked" & "Spring/Summer Collection") over and over again. Gina's kits are marvelous when it comes to mixing and matching and give you a lot of bang for your buck. But don't ask me to choose between either one of them...it's impossible!

With that said, there are so many other wonderful CDs out there that I've got on my "to buy" list....Julie Mead's "Girly to Grungy"....Holly's "Digi Chick" stuff.....oh heck....just about ALL of them appeal to me! (Maybe I'll talk to Santa and see if Jules is the ONLY one he comes early to!)
