I am not sure where to post this. Every year for the past couple of years, I have made my dad and husband homemade calendars for Christmas presents. I basically do a simple scrapbook layout for each page (but with a white background always) but always ad some new (simple) technique I have learned. For example I made charms using pictures of my dad's grandkids and a bracelet tub. I have used the polaroid tut to make my pictures look like polaroids. I have made frames around the individual pictures on each page. I have used the bobble head tut to make bobble head trophies of his grandkids and titled the page, "Poppie's Trophies". I just don't know what else to do. My husband's calendar is all about my daugher. I usually come up with some idea surrounding Valentine's day for February and a page of her and him for June for Father's Day (My Dad is My Superhero was last year with super hero tubs). My dad's calendar surrounds our family and his grandkids. Does anyone have any ideas? I am stuck! I found the tutorial showing how to make the people look like they are popping out of the picture and I have a page idea for that but otherwise, I am at a loss and Christmas is right around the corner

Ok I am not sure if any of this is your style but .......

Make one look like cover of a magasine or movie poster...........
do a zoo using the kids faces on the animels.......
Make it look like a painting.........
A word story... Like back in grad school inert photos for some of the words in the storie........


Ok that is about all I can do for a sunday afternoon....Good luck. I am just about to get started on my calender... But mine is just realy a scrapbook with months stuck in it hehe
