Greetings fellow scrappers! I went to the Creating Keepsakes scrapbooking convention in Bellevue, WA this month and was introduced to digital scrapbooking! WOOHOO! I've been having a ball. My first layout was done using dowloaded elements, my second layout I made all of my own elements using one of my floral photographs and my third layout is more of a montage than a scrapbook page. At any rate, I am enjoying this sooooo much!

A litte about myself ~
I am a hopeless scrapbook addict and I have no desire to kick the habit anytime soon.
I am a working mother and wife. I have been married to my husband, Casey, for five years and we have one son right now, CJ. He is two-years-old. Aside from my full-time job as a technical document specialist, I also own a side photography business called Memory Catcher Photography. I hope to be able to quit my full-time job eventually and move into the photography industry full-force. Some of the other things I do are teach scrapbook and photography classes at my local scrapbook store, knit, sing, and I just picked up my latest hobby, soldering ornaments, charms, and jewelry. I keep my plate very full, but I always make time for my family. Afterall, they are the most important part of my life.
I have three sisters and one brother, six nieces and nephews and one due in April.
I like romantic music, candlelight dinners and long walks on the beach. (j/k throwing in a bit of humor )

That's about all for this nearly-insane mother. What mother of a two-year-old isn't? It's hard to believe mothers actually make it through the toddler years and my journey has just started!

Welcome Amber! I started hanging out here about a month ago and think its GREAT! I have 4yr old and 1 yr old daughters --- so i can relate to the toddler thing. I too used to work, but now am a sahm and loving it. I live outside Portland, but didn't get to go up to the CK convention (was it fun?). I love scrapbooking (digitial is so much more fun to me than paper ever was) and i love photography -- in fact, would like to start a business (did my first non-family shoot 2 wks ago) so i'd love to hear more about what you do.
