Got asked for two, but am getting one published. Supposedly, one for last time that got 'bumped' will be in, too, but it's not a very good layout, so I hope they forget and don't put it in!
Don't be discouraged, ladies. They got thousands of submissions this time and can only choose so many. Last time, a lot of people's work (like mine) got bumped at the last minute, so that happens, too.
Once you sign the contract, though, you get your $50/page regardless of whether they end up putting it in or not, so that's workin' for us.
They're really trying to get more digital work into the regular/non-digital issues of the different big magazines, so start submitting to those. Once you get your name out there as a digital scrapper, you'll be more likely to be chosen for future publications. Just like how you see the same paper scrappers published in all the big companies... that's because 'everyone' knows them by their work or name, and they had to start somewhere, didn't they?
