Ok I guess it is probably time to introduce myself since I've been lurking around here for quite a while soaking up all the inspiration and education and recently I even posted a few of my first lay outs and was so pleased to get such lovely responses from everyone!

So... I'm Kate. I live in Melbourne (Australia) with my husband and my girls, Zoe and Isabella who have just turned one. My girls were born 10 weeks early due to twin to twin transfusion sydrome and this year has been a momentous one for us coming to terms with the girls birth and their on-going issues. This has been what has insipred me to start digi scrapping. I have always loved taking photos and loved my digi cam and while I've played a bit with paper scrapping it is just too fiddly for me and as I can't even draw a straight line with a ruler it just frustrated the heck out of me. So I was VERY excited to stumble across this amazing site and find the perfect way for me to express myself and show off some of our photos. I'm slowly working through the photos from the girl's first year and while it is at times very painful and sad it is also full of joy and love and it is doing wonders towards helping me deal with it all.

So thanks you so much to all the wonderful people at this site, for your help and your inspiration. You are all truly artisits!

I don't really know what twin to twin transfusion syndrome is but it sounds like you've all had a pretty tough time. Hope things are improving for you all.
