With the site becoming a pay site, does that mean we can't send in elements to share for free anymore?

I was just wondering, because I sent something in twice in the last week, and now I'm wondering if I emailed it to the right place.

Along those lines... it says that membership will be free for those who have sent in elements before December 10th... what about people who submit after then? Will a submission "buy" you a subscription or will you need to have already submitted something?

(Wondering because I've got something almost ready and I'll submit it half-finished if I have to for the subscription, but would rather wait and make it complete!)

(edit) It's not that I'm a cheapskate, it's more of the arriving at the platform just as the train picks up speed problem, to just miss it by a few days would be a bummer.

Basically there will be a free section for the elements. The elements in the free section will rotate regularly (ie. different elements will be available at different times). In the membership section, all the elements will be available all of the time.

Amy or Kristi will have to clarify if it matters when you send in your elements to receive the free membership.

But membership only costs $15 for an entire year (or $10 if purchased before 1210/2004).

I would like to point out, too, that the fees are to handle the huge amounts of bandwidth, not to pay for the elements. A heck of a deal any way you slice it, really.

i paid my $10 as soon as the ad came up... i've gotten way more benefit than just $10 from this site already, and it isn't the new year yet! i can just imagine how much the bandwidth costs and all... i'm so thankful that folks do this and make such a nice place for us to come hang out.

Like Scrap'n'girl I too paid my cash as soon as I seen the ad. in the newsletter. I think it is value for money what with all the help and freebies available, never mind the friends and community we have here!

The worst alternative is too horrendous to think about - no SBB.

So come on ladies pay up and keep SBB running and of course enjoy the benefits too.

Yep - as soon as I saw that ad - I went straight in and signed up!! This site has been so invaluable to my learning of Digiscrapping that I'd be lost without doing my daily fix.
