Ok, so I just discovered that I can download my favorites to my computer.

I am now in heaven, with the thought of having so much inspiration in the "palm of my hand". That got me to thinking how much this site has come to mean to me in the past 2 months that I have been a registered user.
I am a native New Yorker (which by definition means a Manhattanite!!

) who, although I am in LOVE with my city, sometimes feels like a small town girl at heart. This site, with all the wonderful people who take time out of their lives to offer critiques, advice, and knowledge, makes me feel the way I did during my favorite Christmas as a teenager, when I held a gift wrapping party with my friends and I had more fun on that day wrapping presents for people than I did on Christmas day, when I opened my own. I thoroughly enjoy getting to virtually meet people from all over our country and feel like we live in one "Scrapbooking neighborhood. "
I am in my second year of my psychiatry residency and after working all day (and night) with people who have been traumatized in one way or another, it is wonderful to come home and log into this site and see pictures from people who appreciate what they have been blessed with in life and not take such gifts for granted. Life is short, life can be hard and challenging, but it can also be so beautiful and it is wonderful to see that beauty so creatively displayed on this site.
Ok, I am going to end right now. I apologize if this comes off as way too "sappy" to be expressed to "strangers", but I really am grateful for all the hard work that goes into creating, maintaining, and actively participating in this site.
