I am doing a layout and wanted to cut a hand off ( yuk) of one of the pictures to use as a holding tool , ( child holding his mask in hand)
One I tried once cutting a picture and got the part I cut out, but when I wanted to use the whole picture again it was not there, only the part I cut.
How can I get it back or in future how can I cut and save the whole picture to reuse( is this explained enough)
two(lol HOw do I get the hand to hold the mask, Like the fingers wrap around the mask.

I'm not sure about the second part of your question, but for the first part, this is what I would do. Before you start working, make a copy of that picture, and rename it with "Hand" added to the filename. Then you can work only on the copy, cutting it up however you need to, and your original picture will still be intact.
