HELP....

Okay - I have this super easy program - it is a Nova product called Scrapbook Factory - it is SUPER easy to do stuff on - I did like 3 pages today (yippee) BUT - I can only save it in their setting - does that make any sense? Their file type is like .sfs I think so I don't know if anyone will be able to print them - if anyone has ANY ideas I would appreciate the help

Check out this thread. Towards the bottom Valarie talks about using a PDF Writer which could work out with you and your software. Also look and see if there's an "export" function in your software. Sorry I'm not familiar with Scrapbook Factory's abilities.

Hi mommak,

I, too, own Scrapbook Factory by Nova (I thought it was really cool when I got it) and used it before I found out that there is a digital scrapbooking community out there. Now that I've seen what one can do with PSP, PS etc. I wouldn't want to use it for Scrapbook pages again, I now do labels for CDs and stuff with it. It is easy to use, admittedly, but you can't create anything even close to what you can do with a real graphics program (drop shadows, "real" elements, brushwork to name just a few). The fact that you cannot save as jpg is also very annoying. You cannot export them or anything . Though fox-myers is right, you could save them as a pdf file alright an share them then.
