Glad you got that figured out! I usually size mine to 600x600.....and then allow a little bit of compression until the file size is within the correct parameters. I use photoshop elements, which shows the different file sizes based on the level of compression before I save, so I can play around with it a bit. Believe it or not, some of my pages I have posted here have been compressed up to 50% with little or no noticable pixelation. Just remember to do a save as or your lovely large file won't be good for printing anymore! LOL. But you knew that.

I guess I need Photoshop Elements - might be a perfect Christmas present. But if I have Photoshop 7 (which I haven't been able to use yet) that would be similar?

YES! I would definitely say that's better! Photoshop Elements is a watered down Photoshop. While Photoshop is maybe a little harder to learn, it has so much more flexibility and potential! If you are intimidated by it....start small by doing some photoshop tutorials to get used to the program. They abound on the net if you just do a search for "free photoshop tutorials". You might start at escrappers.com - they have a few there, I believe. Meanwhile, if you just don't want your photoshop, my address is.....tee hee! Jump in with both feet, I say!

You are too funny Dianne......I don't have enough RAM or very low to run my Photoshop. That is why I mentioned getting a new computer - bring my RAM up to date. But if I ever decide I don't want it, you will be the first I would think of.
