Hi DHyatt!

"Inking" (did I say that?) It's usually a term they use in paperscrappin. (stil doing both..) But what I meant was using your brush tool, preferably a grunge type brush and just brushing along the edges.. giving it that "inked-edged" look kinda like this layout I did, not the best example.. but I tried

But just experiment and work with different layers! Have fun! Can't wait to see your layouts!

Thank you for your help. Not only did I do that, I also used the idea with an eraser tool to soften the edges of a photo.

One thing I found for blending was using my eraser brush a larger one with soft edges... but also have used strange brushes on the eraser tool to doctor up the edges of my photos.

brushes! Loads of em. I always put each on a seperate layer and play alot with transperancies. I find it really gives a lot of depth to a somewhat flat background.

I too love the clean graphical ad like pages, but have been trying to scrap out of my box lately...

Funny though, when I decide a layout is missing something, I usually turn to my brushes...
