Call for Submissions: A Simple Guide to Digital Scrapbooking 3 Deadline: 10/25/04 Digital scrapbooking is branching out! Send us your best 100% digital layouts or paper layouts where you've used your computer for a substantial part of the layout (photo editing, innovative text techniques, digital elements, etc.). Submissions must be saved as a 72dpi JPEG file, no larger than 100 KB. Use our web site's electronic submission form http://www.simplescrapbooksmag.com/m...mit/form.ihtml to submit your images by Monday, October 25, for possible inclusion in upcoming issues. Include software information and a brief description of any special techniques you used.

Sorry if Molly mentioned this in her SBB chat (I missed it. Darn it!) but is SS now doing 2 digital issues a year? Because this call is way earlier than the last one. It's really exciting to see more and more calls for digital LOs.

What do we submit it under? Virtual page? There is no specific call listed. Do you submit the file that you posted here on sbb. Mine aren't 72dpi, but they are under 100k.

Di, you should be able to submit a LO you have posted here without "removing it for publication" until SS says they want it. Only MM's digital book call and CK's Hall of Fame require that the LOs never be posted on line.
Carla, I'd make sure that your LO is 72 dpi because SS might be looking at all the LO in one manner (on computer) and your submission might not be considered since it didn't meet the basic requirements. I'm not sure that they're anal about this but better safe than sorry.  I'm not sure what to put the call as... I haven't run off and figured out what I want to submit yet.

Oh, I am SOOOO submitting for this one too! I'm gonna start going through my layouts tomorrow morning!
