Hello everyone!

I have finally joined SB Bytes... I originally heard about you last Dec(2003) from Amanda on another board... I knew she was a digi scrapper from the board we were on together, and the lo's she usually posted. Sorry Amanda, for the life of me I can't remember your last name right now... I'm thinking it starts with a B... but not positive.

Anyways, she recommended the 1st SS digital issue to me and this board(when I said I was interested in trying to learn to digi-sb)... I got it... and tried one page that was in Ch 4 of the special issue... However, I dropped the whole endeavor of even trying to sb this way... the 1st SS issue was hard for me to understand some of the articles, and it seemed more to me they were just trying to sell me on the idea of digi sb as a possibility...

Then last week, I was in the M- - - - 's craft store, trying to use my 40 off coupon(lol), and saw the SS digi 2 issue... WOW !!! Rhonna Farrer, and a couple other ladies really impressed me to give SBB a second look, and really put an effort into trying this digi-sb'ing again... so, here I am...

I hope I don't drive you all crazy with questions, and hope I can eventually figure my way around this site with more ease... it's absolutely HUGE and a bit overwhelming to the lost... hee, hee I've probably spent a good 40 hrs on the site this week alone, trying to learn... my brain is starting to reject new info at this point (lol)- so I think I'll have to go to the lake tomorrow to refresh, ha, ha...

I met a few of you all tonight in the midnight crop chat... I am so excited to be here, and look forward to building relationships, as well as my knowledge. Thanks to you all for the kind INVITATION into your wonderful world through SS Digital 2 issue!!! I already know you must be an awesome group!!! KUDOS to you all!!!

Welcome Shawna!! I first want to say I'm envious of your name. Mine is Shawn & I've always wished it were Shawna. Gave it a try for awhile but it never stuck. My family all calls me Shawny so at least that's a little more girly.

Anyway, I'm sure you'll love it here. Everyone is incredibly sweet and helpful. And aren't those chats great?! I just figured out recently that during the speedscraps and stuff that's where everyone hangs out. I'm not too good at chatting and speed scrapping but it's definitely a great way to get to know more people here. Hopefully I'll run into you in one sometime.

Glad you joined us. That SS digi 2 issue was amazing and a lot of SBB people were represented. There's a lot of inspiration and help available here, too. Before you know it you'll be addicted like the the rest of us! (she said while sneaking a few minutes at work to check the forums and post this message)

Welcome to SBB! I'm a newbie too. I get called Shawna by my FIL and Step MIL all the time and my nieces/nephews and siblings call me Shawny.

It's so cool to meet another "Shawn" in any form!
