My first LO--Now what? Do I print it

I am brand new to this. I have paper sb 4ever, but here is my very first digital layout:

My question is what do you all do with your digital layouts? Do you just view them on a TV or computer, or do you print them out on 12x12 paper via a wide format printer? I am thinking about purchasing one, but want to know that I will be happy with the quality first.

Or do you all just print the backgrounds and add "real" photos?

Please help as I am not exactly sure how to get started. Also, is there a place that tells all about backing up files specifically formats and sizes and their different uses? I seem to be MB/KB impaired and need some sort of conversion tool (like on my measuring cups)

You did a great job on your first layout....and I love your puppy! (I'm a Lab owner myself.) There are several threads to be found regarding printing layouts. Try running a search and you'll find lots of advice and info.

I prefer to have mine printed as photos for my 8x8 albums. Here's a link to a thread where I explained what I do:
