Lightbulb Has anyone seen this yet...

I just stumbled upon something *new* and thought I'd share. Maybe I'm just way behind on what's hip these days. You can now make your own postage stamps using pictures of your darlings (children or pets). www.snapfish.com it may be offered on others, but this is where I saw it. It's pricey, $17 for a sheet of 20 $.37 stamps, but how cool are they???? I'm thinking for Christmas cards. I'm just so amazed, so I thought I'd share.

Very cool Amy- looks like this just came out last month!

Here's another link- same price
http://photo.stamps.com/

It comes to about 85 cents for a 37 cent stamp if you order a sheet of 20. The price does go down a little if you order more sheets.

TFS!

I can't find information anywhere on snapfish.com - maybe you have to be logged in. Looking at stamps dot com, they're really limited on what kinds of pictures you can submit:
Quote:
You agree to use the PhotoStamps service solely for the following image categories:
Babies or Children that appear to be pre-teenagers;
Pets and Animals;
Business and Charity logos or graphics;
Landscape and Wildlife; and
Vehicles

No images depicting teenage or adult persons will be accepted.
Maybe other providers would let you do wedding pictures? Wouldn't that just be perfect for thank you notes?

tried it...

I did this on Lincoln's adoption announcements. It was a neat touch and I got a lot of comments on it.

The are being more particular with those stamps lately. Apparently someone got through a photo of New Jersey Governor McGreevy with the gentleman that served as head of security for a short time. They were offering them on a website. I think that they will monitor it more closely now.
