OMG! It's so good to see everyone again!.....

I was in Ivan's rampaging path last week and I just now got my internet back! My home sustained minimal damage, but I can't stop crying for the hundreds of my fellow Floridians who have lost everything. I've started a mini SB about my personal experience, but if you want to see the hell that Ivan brought to my hometown go to

now I'm going to start checking out all the layouts I've missed since last week. I may be here all night!

Welcome back! I am sure glad you are safe! I too fell really bad for all the people effected in Florida. I can't wait to see your pictures and LOs.

After I posted this I visited the web site you suggested. Thank you for sharing. It helped me to understand a little more what you are all facing. The sand on the beach and the plowed roads reminded me of what we face if we have a major snow storm but at least we don't have to face the other damages and eventually our snow melts.

Susan- so glad that you didn't get too much damage and that you are ok!

TFS the link- it is sooo amazing how much damage can be done in a short amount of time. My prayers are with those who lost so much

Susan ... its so good to hear that you are okay but I also feel for those in Florida. Being from New Orleans, I have spent many vacations in Pensacola and the Panama City area. The damage this storm caused really hit close to home. I've never been through a hurricane and wasn't scared to stay in NO, even though lots of people told me I was crazy. Seeing the damage caused in Florida has changed my view and I will definately be leaving the next time a storm the size and strength of Ivan heads our way. Those pictures are awful and my heart goes out to everyone in that area.
