I LOVE people's kits! It's great to see variety!!! I do buy them, however, I prefer scrapbook-elements.com and some of the designers who do this because I can buy just the kits I want and not a whole CD. Like, I have gotten CDs that have baby boy things, and I haven't used them ever!

I also make my own kits and am selling them soon too - all sold individually! Plus, I intend to make freebies to download that coordinate with the kits people buy if they want something extra.

Designing kits and elements are about inspiration and it's so cool to see like 10 different types of bottlecap elements....some may be very metallic looking and others more brushed...the shape might match a page or photos better than another...I love variety!

I have bought 4 kits now because they contained things I couldn't make, or couldn't find for free ( ) or perhaps the $5.00 price was enough to convince me my time and sense of accomplishment was worth that.
I love all the freebies on this site, and have made a couple things myself, but for now I feel I have such a back log of photos, I just want to get the layouts done.

Talking

Hi,

Well, if you are like me and tell hubby that digi scrapping is going to be much cheaper than paper scrapping, think again. The reality is I am now addicted to buying digi CD's and kits. I've collected lots of the free kits from SBB, 5 digi CD's and have just ordered Miss Tanya's new one. I buy kits from scrapbook elements as well and this is me in "restrained mode"!

Never mind at least digi scrapping doesn't create the mess/clutter that paper scrapping does, instead I have a neat pile of CD's and the rest is hidden on the computer!

I just love using all the different kits.

Jules

Oh, I saw my name mentioned on this thread! lol! I am famous! lol! I have a cd coming out soon...some people love cds, some like kits. I guess it is a personal pref. I usually don't buy anything because I have a hard time scrapping with my kits, much less others!!!! I do have alot of cds....Gina's, Lyndsay's ...Clara's -Matter of Scrap...I love these cds. There are more, but I can't remember off hand. Oh, Tonya's cd! I love that. I am getting Tanya's too! I guess I am more of a cd collector!!!

Thus far I have avoided buying ANYTHING digitally... I don't have a creditcard or paypal account so there's no way for me to buy stuff online. My fiance is trying to corrupt me though - he says that if I'm going to do more digital scrapping then we'll save a lot of money on supplies, so he'll buy me some page kits or CDs to play with! I'm resisting, because I don't think he knows what he could be starting... lol
