Carrie had posted this response regarding unzipping multiple files in windows xp:

3-you will see another list: extract to, extract to..,extract to folder (whatever) with same name as folder)...so on and so forth.

Once I click on extract to same folder that fas zipped folder, then click on evaluation version snd then I close it out and there they are.

Beats doing them one at a time.

I have Windows XP, so I should be able to do this ... but I can't. If I highlight just one zipped file and right click, I have the option to extract. However, if I highlight more than one zip file and right click, I have no option to extract - there is no winzip option.

Am I doing something wrong?

I can't do it that way in XP either, I think she installed Winzip if she said:

and then WINZIP with the little icon-click on that...

Not sure however... I would like to know how to do this also without having to download another program that just duplicates what I already have....

Is there a link for that program, and does it cost very much?

Oh my gosh everyone... I've been doing my files one by one for the last year and a half... and I HATED it! lol! Thank you so much for "shedding the light", lol... It took me half the time last night to unzip all the files that had accumulated on my computer. (I did the select all>right click>extract here trick) And the best part... it put all my stuff in individual folders! I was so glad that I didn't have to make folders... Again, thanks everyone!

Oh, and Andyapc, here's the link... it is a free program:
