Okay you Digital image Pro and Picture it people out there...

I have
Microsoft Picture it! Photo Premium 9.0

Is that different then
Microsoft Picuture it! Digital Image Pro (or Suite) 9

I am thinking I dont have what I thought I have... Can I even do drop shadows or any think like that on here?

PictureIt 9 is not teh same as Digital Image Pro 9 but I am sure there must be shadowing in soemwhere. To check, type in shadow in teh help index section in the program and see what comes back

I'm wondering if perhaps you have Picture It Premium 10?

I have the 2002 version where you CAN do shadows, filters, skews, etc. and is very user friendly. Recently I bought the Premium 10 Picture It - was VERY disappointed and sent "not so nice" e-mail to Microsoft. Discovered you can't do 1/3 of the things in Premium 10 that you could do in 2002 version (and this was suppose to be upgrade)! My personal findings were it's nothing but photo management and advertisement for Digital Image Pro. Have removed from PC and gone back to OLD version.

Not much help, but sure understand your frustration.

I tried typing in Shadow and it just talks about basic touchups... nothing on the creative side of it. I typed in creating a shadow in the search section and a page popped up that said... Upgrade to DIP ... so that is why I am thinking I dont have the right program...

No I think it is just picture it premium
When I use it the picture it in the computer says picture it 9
I have tried help and it is not there.
but was thinking of getting digial image pro
but all tutorials on the web is for photo shop.
I have tried JASC and to me it is way to slow and you can't get rid of it when it slows down on you.. so it is very tiring.
