Ok once you download all your different items, papers, kits, etc.

The kits do you keep one set within that them and make copies and put them in their appropiate categories (ie papers, letters, frames, etc)

I downloaded and moved all zipped files into one folder in My Documents that I called Downloaded elements, now comes the real task...LOL There are over 180 files, not to include fonts and brushes...
Thanks
Carrie

Huge credit to Emmy, but what I've done is keep them in folders by kits, with the designers name as part of the kit. Makes it much easier to credit the designers when posting online, etc. Elements that aren't part of a kit are in folders -- alphabets, papers, elements, and ribbons/fibers. I did have my kits separated into these folders, but it just makes it harder to find something. I'm considering printing thumbnails of each element so that I have a better feel for what I have, but don't know how much ink that would take!

That's definitely one way to do it. I keep mine in their kits so I know who has created what but you could definitely add duplicate copies to your other folders. The only drawback with this is that elements can require quite a bit of storage. Another alternative would be to print thumbnail of all the kits you have on jsut a few pages and keep them in a binder so you can find what you want easily. HTH!
