I use PSP 7 (just learning). I've downloaded several sets from the site and now don't know how to put them all together. The problem is with the background papers. I know how to add the elements, photos, etc. as layers but I don't know how to use the background paper in the sets. Can anyone help? I don't know if I open a new image for the background but when I do that and try copying & pasting the background into the new image size it doesn't fill the area. Any help would be appreciated.

What dpi are you using when you open a new file? What are the dimensions of your new file? If both these match the dimensions of the background it should fill the whole space. If the kit was downloaded from here it is at 300 dpi. Let me know what kit you are trying to use and what the dimensions of your new file is and I will help you out.

I am opening a file at 300 dpi and set the inches size to 8.5 x 11. I think the background paper may be 12 x 12 inches. I do not know how to convert to pixels. Any help would be appreciated.
