Another Newbie from Germany

Hello,

my name is Nicole, I'm married and have two little kids. I found this page a few days ago and since then I've done no washing, cleaning etc, but I've been looking at all the wonderful LO's you have posted. Since now I've been doing collages with PhotoImpact XL. Scrapbooking is not as common in Germany as it is in the US but I love it and I think I'll change my style a bit. Only words and poems don't sound as romantic in German as in English!
I hope you'll excuse my poor language skills.
If you want to see a few of my collages, please feel free to visit my webpage and browse to "PhotoImpact.

Have a nice evening
Nicole

Hi Nicole,

I thought I was the only German scrapping digitally except Petra Losbichler from scrapbook-elements. Never met another one before in the digital scrapbooking community. I agree with you. Journaling in German sounds either pompous or strange , I usually prefer English as a journaling language.

Where are you from?

Rikki

Welcome to SBB! Don't apologize for your English. If my German was as good as your English I would be so proud. I am glad you are enjoying scrapping the digital way. Sounds like you are on your way to the best addicted on the net.

@Rikki

I guess there are a few more Germans scrapbooking, but not so many or there would be a german forum as well. Not that I miss it - I rather practice my English this way.
I life in Ladenburg which is situated between Heidelberg and Mannheim, and where are you from?
Would be fun to hear from you again.

Nicole
