Hi, my name is Kimberly, and I'm converted. I've been posting in the gallery, but haven't introduced myself here, yet. Hmm... I'm 34, 3 kids, one dh, teach kindergarten for children with autism. I've been paper scrapping for 4 years. I've been considering digital scrapping for the last 6 months or so, but it took my friend Emmy's "confession" that she had started digital scrapping to get me to look into it more. On Friday, I just decided that I would teach myself to digital scrap this weekend. Luckily (or unluckily), our van broke a power steering belt on Friday evening, so I've been stuck at home all weekend, letting me play with my computer more than I anticipated. In my paper scrapping, I tend toward a very graphic style and use a lot of patterned paper and clean lines. Not surprisingly, that's what I find myself doing in my digital scrapping, too. I'm pretty sure I won't be going back to paper scrapping at this point. I'm already in love and I feel like I'm just scratching the surface of what I can do with digital!

I've been looking for a scrapbooking "home" on the 'Net for quite awhile and here, I feel like I've finally found my place. Thanks so much for being so complimentary towards my first attempts and so helpful on the boards! Kim

Welcome Kimberly! I noticed some of your LOs in the gallery and I think my comments were... "great graphic style".

LOL This is a great place to get inspiration and the answers you need for digi-scrapping. So please post any questions you have!

And how great is it to have a friend who's already into digi-scrapping!?!? In real life, my friends paper scrap and think I'm a little strange.

My digital friends are all ppl I met here.

Hi Kim,
I just had a look at the pages you posted, and they are GORGEOUS!! This is only my second time at this site, but I would also like to venture into computer scrapping. I have only gotten as far as manipulating my photos a bit with Photoshop, but have not attempted a whole layout yet. Good job!
