This is a great thread and deserves a bump! I have a photo background too, and I really really love a good crit!

I had posted a request for CCs in the Beginners section, but now I know to look into the Help forum instead.

I also had a thought - maybe we could make a little badge for people who like CCs to put in their signatures to spread the word about how we can help each other grow artistically. Or we can try to always include CC in our descriptions or keywords so if you like to write CCs you can find the ones to critique easily.

Just wanted to add to this again. I am sure it was said before though.

If you leave a positive CC I don't think it is offensive at all! To just come out and say and I quote
"I don't really like the XYZ much, but that's a personal preference."
HMM didn't ask for any CC on this page, it was a gift for a friend and the focus was on the picture.
Never had this happen before so gives me a different perspective.
I realize my layouts are not perfection, always room to improve! Perfection - what fun would that be!
