1st digital LO --looking for suggestions

Hello, brand new scrapper here. Last night I finished my 1st digital LO, titled Friends, and uploaded it to the Gallery. (Thank you to all who left kind comments. And thanks so much, Design Team, for the Carnival Elements!)

Would anyone like to give me some suggestions for improvement? (I'm already planning to either re-crop or replace the bottom right picture.) But I wonder what more experienced scrappers would change to improve the weight and balance of the LO.

My DH thinks the bottom half is too dark and heavy. We also notice that everything looks darker after converted to JPEG. The original PrintMaster document looks brighter. Any suggestions how I might adjust for that problem?

Thanks in advance, I'm looking forward to any suggestions! -Ange

I'm new to this site too.
I will look for your layout. There must be an easier way to link right to it, but I'll be darned if I can figure it out.
I thought if I went to your profile, there would be a link to your gallery there, but I don't see one.
Oh well. Lemme go look for it and we can be newbies together!

Thanks for the suggestion

The drop shadows have softer edges in my original LO but converting the file to JPEG seems to harden them. I'm going to keep experimenting with it!! --Thanks for searching me out

Found this thread by looking for others using Printmaster. I can do MOST things I want and am very comfortable with it, but I noticed you have switched to DIP 7. I'm thinking of switching, but don't want to spend a lot oft ime learning a whole new program. Was it a hard transition? I don't want to buy a new program if I'm not going to use it! Appreciate any input!
