Suzzanne,

In PSE2, just click on a color (foreground, background, text color, etc) and the Color Picker will open up. Near the bottom right corner is the color number. It's a little entry box with just the # sign in front of it. Paste in the color number from the color wheel website and you'll have the same color in PSE.

Also you can use Color Cache to create custom color pallets that you can load into PSE. There are lots of cool color tools out there!

Thank you for the link. It's much better than just a color wheel because it does all the thinking for me!

Yippieee, I have looked all over for a color wheel since I am not color coordinate-savvy.
I also was looking for new color combos, trendy like Shabby Princess color combos.anywhoo

thanks for the link!

Thanks for the link to Color Cache, what a fun program! But I can't figure out how the heck to load it into PSE...how do you go about that?

Asrai (and other interested in loading palettes into PSE)
  1. In Color Cache once you have created a Palette that you like, go to File -> Export -> Export PhotoShop Swatch (.ACO).
  2. Select the palette(s) that you want to export and give it a file name to save to.
  3. In PSE, open your Swatches palette and click on More Select Load Swatches from the drop down menu.
  4. Find the swatch you saved and click Load. Your palette colors will be added to the bottom of the array of colors in your Swatch palette.

HTH! If you have more questions, feel free to PM with them.
