I'm new

Hi,
I am new to this and haven't quite started yet.....but I am looking forward to it. I notice that most of the tips and info are geared toward people with PSP and Photoshop. I have Picture It and Digital Image Pro 9. Will those work or will I be too limited?

Welcome aboard Sheri!

I have seen quite a few posts from folks using DIP 9, so I think it should work well to get you started. You can always move into something else later (PSP can be a bit quirky to learn). Also, there are many tutorials for other programs that you can read to give you ideas of what you can then do in DIP. And you can always post a question.

Looking forward to your Layouts!

Lots of the Design Team either started with or still use DIP on a regular basis. I haven't picked it up yet to learn because well.. i just haven't LOL it's on my list of to do.

You are only limited by your imagination and if your imagination at soem point exceeds your programs abilities then you know you are ready to move on.

There are some tutorials for DIP and we will be sure to get some more out there. Check you the ezine there is always at least 1 if not more for DIP in it for tutorials or tips.

and feel free to pop up any questions in the DIP forum under Program bytes in the forums
