I want to moan, I subscribed to Broadband a few weeks ago and got the modem this week. In just 30 minutes they say you will be online, ha, ha, ha. 26 hours later and I am back on dial-up temporarily!! I have spent hours and hours listening to computerized messages whilst trying to get through to an actual person on the providers helpline, not so easy to install it would seem.

Five instances of so called "help" and now they say my computer's registry needs to go back to the factory settings (I am not entirely confident that their information is correct, they didn't seem to be very knowledgeable, I could have got the same results fooling around myself). Huh, don't they know I need my daily dose of SBB and I'm off for a week's holiday on Friday. Hardly any time left to pack in the hours at my favourite site before I go. I spent so much time installing, uninstalling, reinstalling and rebooting I am now well behind in the ironing/packing.

Anyone else have problems when switching to broadband or am I the only lucky one??
