In answer to Karma2.. what about buying a USB memory stick instead of CD... they comes in different memory too from 256 MB to GB.

ooohhhh.......I never thought about that! What a great idea. I just saw one on sale in today's ads, I'll have to go dig it out and see where that was. That would be really handy and quick to switch back and forth!! Thanks for that great suggestion!

WOW! The lightbulb just went on....I already have several 256mb memory sticks (Sony) for my digital camera. I could just use one of these for copying pictures to when i know i want to use them for scrapping and take it along with me and download IT to the computer I'll be using ..... couldn't I???

I think I remember someone else talking about doing this. using their camera memory card (stick) for portable storage.
