HEY ED!!!!

I am a photoshop user too and although i haven't done this yet YOU CAN USE TUBES!!! there is a program that will extract the tubes and change them into PNG files just like the other elements we use. SO if you have a hankerin' to go on a Tube hunt on the internet YES YOU CAN USE THEM

Here is a program that is free called Tube- Ex

http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/M...s/Tube_Ex.html

here is it's home page

http://www.mediachance.com/pbrush/tips/tip2.html

it has all the directions you need there. I haven't tried this yet ( Mostly because between collecting fonts, elements, rushes, and other items I'm afraid to get addicted to tubes)

Have fun!! and if you have any tutorial requests for Photoshop 7, CS, or Elements please visit this thread here and one of the adobe people here will take it up

Taking requests for Photoshop Tutorials

I'm sure you're going to have a great time here all the ladies ( and gents) are very helpful!

Thanks for that Tanya, I thought the only way to use tubes was to actually extract them from PSP, so I have never bothered, might try it one day when I am bored LOL.

Ok if oyu are on mac i believe that it is basically the same thing as what they do to change the photoshop splash screen

http://www.resexcellence.com/hack_ht...05-01-02.shtml

the file for the splash screen is encrytped and stored inside the information file. you need to ' explode' that information file to extract the image files inside it. I'm so sorry it's been quite some time since i used a mac. I'll keep checking into it though.
