Welcome! Glad to have you here at SBB! Yeah, I don't know why this hobby is ran by women. I know my hubby doesn't have much interest in it, but he does love the pages that I create. But, he is also not into photography and graphic arts like me. I think that digital scrapbooking is just that, graphic art! And there are definitely men in that field, so thats virtual pat on the back, haha. I try not to be too girly with my pages, after all I am a mother to a boy, LOL. I think it would be great for more men get into this hobby. I would love to see a man's approach to elements and kits, also. Can't wait to see some LOs! -Ali

I had to laugh.

My husband uses the same labels . Personally I still think in terms of men & women. I'll borrow your line if I may. I just registered and I'm English. The site seems to be dominated by Americans, Any other Brits out there?

Jean, I'm male and English.......

but live in Australia.

Thanks everyone for the welcome.

So far I've downloaded some tubes and converted them to PS7 and download some really cool fonts that I always thought I would have to pay for.

I've been looking at the galleries in awe and thinking constanly of how I am going to start my first layout. I'm thinking pipes and machines as a background. After all I am a chemical engineer.

However I've also learnt my computer is going to struggle with all this new technology and dial up is driving me crazy.

Hi Ed, just wanted to say welcome. I don't post a WHOLE lot, but I've been using this site for well over a year now and it's been an invaluable resource and learning tool... cg scrapping has changed SO MUCH from when I first checked it out (ie. it's BETTER). I've often wondered why more men aren't hopping on the digital scrapping wagon, since it can be a really techy thing It's just a wonderful and freeing way to design... I'm sure you'll be hooked in no time

Smile New and English

Hi,

I'm new and English too. I've only been scrapping for about a month but I've learned so much from the wonderful people here. I've posted a few of my layouts because I've been so pleased with how they've come out.

This is a great place to be, there's so much to learn and loads of free elements to download to help get you started.

Have fun and spread the word to other males.

Pam
