Goal for the second half of 2004

Well, I just realized that it's nearly July and we will be half way through the year already. I'm enjoying summer but, man, does time fly. I don't really feel like I've accomplished alot in my scrapbooking this year. The photos are piling up on the hard drive and I just keep downloading more wonderful elements.

To address this issue, I'm setting a goal of scrapping 2 pages per week for the rest of the year. I am going to count this week as part of my goal, so there are 27 weeks until the end of the year and I need to complete 54 pages. I will count my remaining 7 pages for the ABC challenge as a page each even though they are only 5" x 7". And I'm planning on doing some kind of calendars for Christmas gifts again this year, so should cover another 12 pages. So I just need to complete another 35 pages to make this goal a reality. I think that's achievable.

Anyone else want to set a personal goal for the remainder of the year?

Hmm... good idea.

Let's say I'll do three a week so I have 81 to complete by January 1, 2005. Gosh, I'll prolly get that many done by September!!

SURE THING!!!

Ok, I think I can commit to 2 pages a week, especially after dh goes BACK TO WORK!!!!

I think setting a goal is a great way to motivate yourself, let's get those photos put on a page!!!!

Thanks Stacy for thinking of this..

What I did in the first half of 2004

Just out of curiosity I figured out how many pages I have done this year so far. It came out to be 45 with 18 of them being for the ABC challenge. So I guess I wasn't doing that bad for the first part of the year even if 40% of the pages were only 5" x 7". Can you tell that I was an engineer in my former life?!? Like Jacqueline I like numbers. Now I just need to do more scrapping in the next 6 months!

LeeAndra- I like the addition of the LO count to your signature. I'll have to do that too.

TeeQ- I'm glad you're up for the challenge too! Now as long as we remember to scrap and not just play word games! LOL

Great idea...i do need to get more LOs done! No doubt about that! I'll have to count what I done to date, but I think I'll set my goal to 2 LOs/week.

Thanks for this motivational idea

I have done 78 LOs' since Jan with most of them being done since April. I was sick for the first three months so I think I did pretty good. Averaging this out, I don't think I can keep up this pace so I have decided I will do 3 LOs' a week for the rest of the year.

Wow, Vivian! You set a great pace for the first half of the year! You should have no trouble making your goal. Unless of course your grandkids stop do anything cute.

Good on you all! I have already set my goal to at least one a week but I'm a self admitted over achiever so I always try to do more than that. It's a bit of a challenge though as you all know.
