Thanks I noticed it kindof myself, but it felt more was wrong.
So I tried again
Because I work with photoshop 7 (PS7) I'll record what I did.
For the next flower
http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com/galle...cat=500&page=1- I started 4 times as big as my original picture (about 16 times the size I want in the end, but I can make it smaller, but not much bigger!)
Layer stile:
- For the shadow: 30% opacity Distance 2 Spread 0 Size 2
- And last but not least I didn't use any texture there. I used a pattern overlay at 10% (in my case parcment from the artists textures). This was absolutely nessecary. The paper I use is smooth and you see it. As soon as I used a real texture it became the expensive paper I'd never use for a job like this one. Still even in this cheap paper u see every fiber in it, so you need someting!
Then I stored it as a new style so now I only had to fill (layer for layer) with a bright colour and press my new paperpiecing style.
A quick and easy way to make paperpiecing patterns from your pictures
