Question Can you convert these instructions?

A Brush with Fall using papers by Lyndsay Riches from the Shabby Autumn Fall CD Vol 1. Check out the gallery for deals on the special celeration this weekend.

I asked Anna how she did her layout and this is what she wrote:

It was really easy - I took some of Lyndsay Riches backgrounds and laid the photos over the top adding various blending modes such as soft light and vivid light. I then altered the curves to make the pictures stand out. Used some brushes to erase and blend the edges into background. Added more brushwork in dark brown and then added my font work.

Now, I use Paint Shop Pro 8 and I would like someone to tell me how to do this using PSP.

I have ordered the CD but would like to understand how to do a layout like Anna's.
Thanks,

Bent or curved patterned ribbon tutorial

I know that's a lot to ask, but I would like to make a bow or a remembrance ribbon with a pattern that, when done, the perspective of the pattern looks right. I tried filling with a pattern but it's all the same direction and looks awful.

thanks!
Nancy
