Hi! Welcome!
You GOTTA convince him to let you dl to his notebook...or get your own! I find mine with it's 15 inch screen is not too small...and plenty powerful...except when I am working on multiple pages at the same time, which is not too often. I love my notebook, because we too are gone a lot in the summer...(headed your way for 10 days mid june!) and I love scrappin' and drivin'! My big craving right now is a digital SLR...with a great telephoto lens. Friends are EASY to make on this site...Have fun and we'll "see" you soon!

Hello!
 You are going to have a blast as you delv into the Digital Scrapping. I loved paper scrapping and still do it from time to time but Digital scrapping just fits my lifestyle so much better (no mess to clean up when the kids are awake, no space--- aside from the computer--- to set up for working on the books.... ) It is great! Hope to see some layouts from you in the future!
