Question Eye Candy

Hi Everyone!

I've been surfing the internet trying to absorb all the information out there and have a question. Some of the coolest free downloads are made with Eye Candy. Will these downloads work if you do not have Eye Candy Software on your PC? My guess is no but I'm not sure. Does Eye Candy work with PSP8 or is there a comparable product to use with PSP8.

Thanks!

Eye Candy is a set of 3rd party filters. I'm not sure if they work in PSP but they do work with PS and PSE.

If someone has created an element with Eye Candy, you can use it on your LO even if you don't have Eye Candy. Using eye candy filters is just one of the steps they used to create the element. Like someone using specially created brushes to create a background.

HTH!

Eye Candy works GREAT with PSP8. I have the free version of EyeCandy 3 and I also have Eye Candy 4000 (it's not free though). I love it for making glass looking text for titles. Of course there are LOADS of other things it does.

EyeCandy

Thanks for the info, Kimbalaya and Fox-Myers. That's exactly what I was hoping to hear! How did you receive the free version of EyeCandy 3?

You can get it here Just click on the section for Non-members, and be sure to get the Windows version! This is the free version, not a cracked version, so it's legit.

Thanks, Kimbalaya! I think I'll give it a try.

I just installed the Eye Candy 3 on my computer. Now do I put it into my Elements, or just use it like Elements? Help, please?

Rosa,

If I understand correctly you want to use Eye Candy with PhotoShop Elements. I think I just installed Eye Candy then the next time I started PSE Eye Candy 3.1 was listed under the menu Filters. On my computer Eye Candy is installed in the directory C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2\Plug-Ins\eye_candy

If that doesn't make sense or you need more help with PSE please let me know here or with a PM.
