What type of paper do you use on SB pages?

I have quite the collection of CD"s but would like to print some of my pages out, what is the best paper to do that on? Will you get great pages using cardstock, or should I try a fancy type of presentation paper? and if you use paper should you mount it to cardstock for durability?

Any suggstions?
Becky

I've gotten great results on my HP photo printer with their everyday photo paper

I've gotten some cardstock and a different kind of HP everyday photo paper and haven't got as good of results. I'm not as sure about the second HP paper because I think my cartridges need to be replaced.

I only ever use gloss photo paper ..Hp because I have an hp printer. Its really a matter of experimenting depending on the look you want. Its recommended though to use the paper that is made for your printer to get the best results when using photo paper. As for mounting it depends how you are displaying them . In a an almum its not genreally necessary but framed I would mount them.

I like the results on Epson Matte Heavyweight paper with my Epson printer. Recently I also tried Georgia Pacific Image Plus Photo Card Stock and I'm pretty happy with that too. It's a little cheaper than the Epson.

I usually slip the pages into page protectors in a binder so I don't bother mounting them on any other paper.

Sometimes if I want a smaller page to show off or share, I get my files printed as 4x6 photos!

Paper

I use Illford Gallerie Gloss that I get at Sam's. It's photo paper and I'm very pleased with the results. Since it's pretty heavy there's no need to mount but I do put them in sheet protectors. I've tried another paper that I got at Sam's that was quite a bit less expensive. I can't remember the name. This one isn't as heavy as the Illford but would work fine if you use sheet protectors. I was surprised at the results, although not quite as good as the Illford.

Hope this helps.
