scrap business questions
Hi- I am in the process of starting a local service with my scrapping. My question concerns copywrited photos. Is it possible to create pages for individuals using their own photos which were taken by professional photographers (wedding, school, sports, etc.) without receiving permission from the artist? I'm not sure how to handle these situations. Any suggestions? I would appreciate any input from folks who are doing custom albums. Thanks so much everyone. The support on this site is wonderful! i think as long as you get permission for the photographer you're ok, but if you will be profiting there are probaly some legalities to that. The best thing you can do is get permission for the professional photographer to get a release.

Congratulations on your new business. I would have to agree with Kristie on getting permission from the photographer.
