Anyone done a remodel scrapbook?

I'm VERRRRY new to computer scrapbooking, and would like to start with a scrapbook for my hubby on the wonderful remodel job he did on our basement. I want to keep the pages consistent, and unified. Any suggestions where to look at for ideas? I've got tons of pictures of the whole process, and was thinking of "chaptering" each room from begining to end?? Any good formulas for a very new beginner???? Thanks - Amy

An easy way for beginners to tie a section together is color! If you're going to divide by room, you could have the background of each section have it's own color and use that color for all thepages of that section. You could even do a cool "table of contents" based on the colors at the beginning.

I agree with Tonya. Also, fonts maybe pick two fonts, one for titles and one for journaling and use them through out the album. -Ali

Thanks gals. I can't wait to try my hand (or mouse) at computer scrapbooking. I've been admiring this site for awhile, now it's time I jump in and do it myself! I've started with the different color theme for each room, but now have to come up with a consistent design element(s). It's still just a scrapbook about a construction project, so I don't want to go too crazy.
Again, thanks for your help.
