I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 and love it for doing digital scrapbook layouts!

I have only been digital scrapbooking for a few weeks now and have only used Photoshop Elements - through the help of the tutorials here and elsewhere I have been able to do everything I have wanted to do so far.

When I started this back in November, I reviewed the three programs that are most commonly used that are about the same price DIP (Digital Image Pro), PSP (Paint Shop Pro), and PSE (Photoshop Elements). DIP does not have a trial version but you can download full trial versions free for PSP or PSE. I didn't look at the full Photoshop because it's $600+

I preferred the oprtions afforded by the layers menues in PSP and PSE. I have similar experience using them in AutoCad. I tried a download of PSP and wasn't happy with the performance- I also read about others having problems. Reading here though you'll here that PSE has a higher learning curve. In the end I chose PSE but truly believe having worked in PSP trying that software out helped me learn PSE faster.
