My name is Christine and I am new to scrapbooking, too. I bought PSP two years ago for the purpose of scrapbooking but shyed away, because I did not know how to make my own elements (didn't know there where called elements). Since then I added Photoshop and PhotoImpact. When I joint a group to learn PI, there where many times where members linked to SBB to show there work. This is truly a great site.
I have to say, there are a bunch of talented people here. The layouts are just super and really inspiring. I want to thank all the generous members for there contributions, wethere ist is to show your layouts or donating elements for download.
Well, I guess I go over to the tutorial section. I am glad to be here and hope to get to know you all.

Welcome! Glad to see you have jumped in! The tutorials are wonderful! You'll be cranking out layouts in no time at all with those great programs. Can't wait to see your work in the gallery!

Hi Christine

I am also fairly new here, if you count since end of December. This site is so inspiring and educational. I also bought psp 8.0 at the end of December after discovering this site and learning about the tools. I have to say I am learning fast with all of the awesome tutorials and all of the member's layouts.

I recently got some layouts printed out at Future Shop and a man who worked there was talking to my husband while I was looking at the pictures. He glanced at the pics and asked if I minded if he looked at them. He was amazed, he said "you must do this for a living?" He thought it was my business and I get paid for it. It was a great compliment to me, as I just started a month ago. I owe a lot of praise to Scrapbook Bytes. The site is just so helpful and not to mention ADDICTING!

Enough rambling about me...

Hope you enjoy being here, and try to join into the speed scrap challenges they are a hoot, and very inspiring.
