Nice photo.. but yeah.. some blown highlights, etc. Here is my take on it:

I used a bunch of techniques:
1. duplicate initial layer
2. mask out bride/groom with Vertus Fluid Mask
3. run a gaussian blur on background layer
4. run a DFX charcoal gel filter on background layer (to darken it a bit)
5. run a DFX Fill light filter on bride/groom layer (to add some light to overall picture)
6. run Viveza to pinpoint hair on both bride and groom and add a bit of fill light

and.. tada! Let me know what you think... I think it could even do with a bit more fill light or exposure adjust on the foreground and the background could be a wee bit brighter... at least on my monitor it looks that way. Enjoy!

Here is my try. Used Hue Saturation targeting only the yellow greens and then cloned over the shrubs.

I just noticed that I removed the hair piece that kinda looks like a wing on her head... I like it removed better because I think it distracts from the piece... but I can add back in if you really want it there..

here's my take.

repairweb_sarah.jpg

I did levels to brighten the exposure on them a bit first. Then I added a brightness and contrast layer where I brought down the brightness and contrast a bit, used a layer mask on that level so it would not apply to them. Then I duplicated the brightness level and set it to multiply and changed the opacity to 35%.

ok...had to play a bit more..I just took the burn tool and burned some of the brighter grass and bush areas a little to see how that would look too after flattening what I had above.
