yea i used to use something to actually VIEW my fonts and only temporarily install them when I wanted to use them so they didn't have to be on my computer all the time - but i don't remember all the softwares that are out there now or what we as scrappers and/or designer prefer.
You can do that with The Font Thing. I like that option (loading) instead of installing so that it doesn't slow things down. I can view my fonts in ACDSee too but I don't know about loading from there. Might need to look into that.
Amy, I am with the girls on ACDSee!! I just recently got it and must say I am in LOVE with that program. You can view fonts, brushes and everything else under the sun with that thing.
I use to use something else (can't remember the name) but when I got vista, it no longer worked.
