What's the general size for a business card?

I have been asked to custom make business cards for a local charity here. What are the dimensions in pixels of a business card? Thanks for reading.

There are a couple and it varies slightly between brands of paper - if you plan to print on business card paper - purchase it first and it will tell you what the measurements need to be

It's for charity, hence no cash. It is being emailed in PDF format, after I make it in CS3. That will NOT work.

OK - perhaps you need to ask them what they will be printing on then? You can check the Avery website for example for measurements http://www.avery.com/

Just trying to be helpful

you can find this info easily here: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=business+card

business cards are a standard size so if they are truly printing on business cards, just stick to standard dimensions.. watch out for bleed areas on the edges (don't put important info too close to the edge).

standard business card is 3.5x2 inches, you'll have to figure pixels depending on the resolution you use...300 dpi would be 3.5 times 300, etc.
